Glue only without strain gages. Cyanoacrylic glue has a normal unopened shelf life of about 6 months. Once opened it can go bad after 2 or 3 months storage at room temperature. Glue life can be greatly extended if refrigereated. Glue brand may change depending on availability and pricing but will be equivalent to the properities recommended by strain gage manufacturers (Locktite 401).
